Indie Cork Film & Music Festival
2015-10-04 2015-10-11Rising SONS Brewery ,Crane Lane Theatre & Indie Cork presents an independent film & music festival
Welcome to IndieCork Music!
8 nights at IndieCork Festival Club, The Crane Lane
Cork is rightly famous for it’s maverick sounds and IndieCork is proud to offer a rich and diverse music programme at the Crane Lane Theatre. The best of visiting local and Indie bands will play for free (and ‘till late) throughout the week.
This year we’ve been working with renowned
local promoters Luchador and Ping Pong who
will showcase exceptional Cork music on Monday and Wednesday nights. Hip Hop outfit Spekulativ Fiktion will be unmissable on Monday, as will Linda Buckley’s new trio Crevice, performing on Wednesday night. We’re delighted that our own Stevie G (and friends) will be bringing his ‘Soul Power’ to the
Lane on Thursday and Saturday we’re treated to Wiggle’s magnificent reggae vibrations. On Friday
we have the cool country swamp sounds of Moody Roots, followed by Sheffield’s Fighting Caravans. Other highlights include Ronan Leonard’s personal
excursion through Cork’s music videos with CineCeoil (Tuesday) and our unique Wildcard Night (Thursday) where emerging artists and experimenters will challenge and entertain us.

Just like the rest of the IndieCork Festival programme this line up has something different and surprising every night, and is the only place to feel the pulse of the rebel city. And remember, IndieCork screenings, talks and special events take place throughout October 4th to 11th at The Gate Cinema and Firkin Crane, full programme available. www.indiecork.com
