This Blues and Folk singer has spent most of his life traveling. Born in France, he grew up successively in The Netherlands, in England and in the United States and now lives in Nantes in the North West of France where he currently performs, occasionally crossing the borders to deliver his talent in  bars, clubs, concert halls and festivals. His fascination for the early bluesmen from Mississippi to Chicago, past (Robert Johnson, Charley Patton, Son House, Lightning Hopkins) and present (Keb’ Mo, Alvin Youngblood Hart, Correy Harris), as well as folk and country singers singers such as Bob Dylan, Sixto Rodriguez or Johnny Cash shows through the simple efficiency of his play, one voice, one guitar, and often a partner in crime on vocals, stomper and open slide guitar, who goes by the name of Erwan Le Fichant. For over a year now, they travel and sing the Blues as a storyteller tells his tale, sometimes whispering secrets and humming complaints, sometimes screaming for help and hollering in joy, drawing a picture of life as he sees it, playing “roots” with the energy of a modern music.

Several times rewarded by one of the most highly sought Blues Challenges in France in 2010, namely “The Rendez-Vous de L’Erdre Blues Challenge”, he has since performed at the “Europajazz Festival” and “So Blues Festival” in Le Mans City, the “Nantes Blues Festival” as well as the “Cognac Blues Passion Festival”, and has equally opened for many famous Blues artists in France such as Roland Tchakounté (Cameroon), Malted Milk (France), Dawn Tyler Watson & Paul Deslauriers (Canada), Enrico Crivellaro (Italy), Mike Sponza (Italy), Amar Sundy (Algeria/France), Gerry Mc Avoy (Ireland), Martin Harley (UK) or Gaby Moreno (USA).
