Anú is the Celtic Mother Earth/Creation Goddess, the queen of the ancient Irish race; Tuatha Dé Dannan; “An Anú” is an original World/Celtic musical collaboration between singer songwriters Liam Mac Amaíla and Helen Webb, featuring both original music and traditional Irish music. Seasoned artists and performers, they bring together vibrant “World” rhythms and Irish music, culture and mythology. Both powerful vocalists and accomplished musicians Helen and Liam bring a musical message rooted in mythology and history, spirituality, love and hope for the planet. Together Liam and Helen are An Anú a relatively new Irish act, in demand both at home and abroad.  Their harmonies and vocal skills combine in featured solos and duets, their whistle, flute and guitar playing incorporates Irish traditional, folk and classic blues and roots music plus powerful and poignent original music.

They have played at many festivals and venues in Ireland and across Europe including the Galway Fringe Festival, Galway Colours Festival, Clifden Arts, The Notting Hill Garden Festival – London, Tubingen Festival – Germany, SOAS – University of London, , Bank of Ireland Theatre – National University of Ireland, Club Volraire -Tubingen, Monroe’s – Galway, Cruinna Na mBad –  Kinvara, The House Hotel – Galway, Jury’s Hotel – Galway, The Town House – Galway, Kelly’s Bar –  Galway, Aras na Gael – Galway, The Crane Bar – Galway, The Celt – Dublin, The Blue Note – Dublin, The Clayton Hotel – Galway, The Lodge at Ashford Castle – Connemara, The Connemara Coast Hotel – Connemara, Mcarthy’s Bar – Castletown Beara,
