This fundraising event for the Hope Foundation will bring together two of the hottest young bands in Cork.

The “greatest cover band in the world”, the James Moone Band are a soulful five-piece band covering a myriad of musical styles from the likes of The Kinks through Bill Withers to MGMT and The Beatles.

Crojayn are a high-energy four-piece rock / blues / alternative band. As well as writing their own material, a huge part of their sound is about taking ideas from the past and putting their own twist on them. Their influences include Rory Gallagher, Kurt Cobain, Muddy Waters and Sonny Boy Williamson.

On warm-up duties is DJ Ian Fiasco, who spins his rare vinyl at the Munster Soul Nights (Northern Soul / Funk), The Moonstomp (Ska / 2-Tone), Outta Sight (60s / Mod / Garage) and The Joint Is Jumpin’ (Swing Jazz).

The Hope Foundation is a Cork-based charity working to improve the lives of street children and their families in Kolkata (formerly Calcutta) in India. They work in child protection, education, healthcare, nutrition and a range of other areas, bringing about lasting change in the lives of some of the most disadvantaged people on earth.

So come out and support two great Cork bands and a Cork organisation doing great things.
