The AlKove consists of lead man and award winning vocalist Eddie Kelly, brothers Alan and Andrew Kiely on guitars, Matt Twomey on bass, and Sean Devine banging the drums. All hail from Cork bar Eddie who we believe is from some other planet. Originally a three piece, but always intending to expand to a five piece band, Eddie, Alan and Andrew gigged in Cork City to road-test some material initially, and on the strength of these few performances, were invited to play at Murphy’s Big Night Out in Cork in late 2013 which was a great occasion “These guys have a great sound with great original songs, watch this space” The final pieces of the jigsaw were added when Matt and Sean joined up within a few weeks of each other in early 2014, and we are now just about ready for world domination.
