Dennis installed the sound system in the legendary Cork live music venue, “Sir Henrys”. Dedicated as he was to sonic excellence,             he travelled to Paris to collect this system back in the 1980s and, subsequently, he installed sound systems in the Triskel Arts Theatre   and many other local theaters…

Dennis loved music festivals, outdoor events and, in his time,                he contributed to many around the country. He worked for                Cork City and Dublin City councils as both a safety advisor                      and sound engineer. He was on the organising committee of the      2005 Cork City “Capital of Culture” opening and closing events     which were fantastic and ingenious events by The River Lee…

Dennis toured the world with many international acts and,                with some, more than once, most notably The Dubliners,                    and UK Folk Legend Donovan. He also sound engineered              “Lark By The Lee” in 1993,  when his good friend Rory Gallagher,    was the special guest…

Dennis recorded “Burning Embers”, “Aslan” and many other          Irish bands at Soundmaster Studios and Elm Tree Studios                    in Cork City during the 1980’s and 90s. For this, and for                      the great care he put into all his work, he was highly respected by musicians far and wide and will always be remembered…
