My name is Aidan Collins and I have been growing my dreadlocks for the past 15 years. I have decided it ‘s time for them to meet their maker. As I am a huge dog lover and it is the industry that my heart belongs to, I have decided to do the big chop in aid of my favourite dog charity Cork Dog Action Welfare Group.

Cork DAWG’s mission is to rescue Cork’s abandoned, abused and neglected dogs and to rehome every dog they rescue. As part of my canine services business I deal first hand with some of the rescue dogs and the work these guys do is phenomenal.

A portion shall also be donated to cancer research, something that has touched nearly all of us one way or the other.

To mark the great event of my dreadlocks meeting their fate we are having a shindig in The Crane Lane Theatre, Phoenix St., Cork City. Saturday March 12th 2016 9-11pm

There will be entertainment on the night with The Funk Dole Brothers, Fire and Water & Sean Murphy. The obligatory spot prizes and shenanigans. Please bring a variety of hats for me to model as I am bound to be feeling the cold.
