Working his day job and gigging the pub circuit at the weekends Dave Quirke began writing and recording his own songs in 2010 and hasn’t stopped since.
Recording the songs at home, Dave had become his own band but to play live required a real band, real musicians and mates…
That’s when The Hi-Beams got together and that’s when the songs really came to life.
With Joe Collins on Bass, Mark Ryan on Lead Guitar and Roger Ryan on Drums and Vocals, The Hi-Beams quickly developed their own sound weaving through genres of rock, blues, punk and folk. A band that loves to jam, rock out, play slow, play loud and give it all on stage.
