Stone Fox are joining the funk, r&b and soul movement in Cork this summer. Their set contains a mixture of old soul and funk that inspired them with some brief meanderings towards jazz. They also tip their hats to the incredible music that has emerged from the neo soul and contemporary R&B scene and they put their delicious funky twist on great pop standards. Artists covered include Stevie Wonder, Prince, Michael Jackson, Incognito, Esperanza Spalding, D’Angelo, Grover Washington Jr., Chic, Jill Scott, D’Angelo and other greats! Every tune is head bopping, lip curling, finger pointingly good!
